About the Malden YSA Cosmos

The Malden YSA Cosmos was formed to offer highly skilled players in the City of Malden the opportunity to compete at the “Club” level of play for an affordable price.  With many of the clubs in Massachusetts charging anywhere from $2,500 to $7,500 per year to participate in their program it quickly becomes cost prohibitive for the average family to afford their children with the opportunity to compete at a higher level in youth soccer.

The Malden YSA Cosmos participates in the Massachusetts Premier League (MAPLE) in the fall and spring and in the Massachusetts Futsal Association in the winter.  The club was formed in the spring of 2014 with a Girls U13 team and added a Boys U9 team in the fall of 2014.  As the interest in Malden and surrounding cities increases at various age groups the Malden YSA Cosmos will seek to develop additional teams in order to offer a progression to the next age group as players grow within the Club.  Any player residing in Malden, MA must also play for the Malden Town Travel Team or in the case of U9 and under for a Malden In-Town Team in addition to the Malden YSA Cosmos.
